I'm not a skank, I'm a ho

I am thoroughly enjoying this week so far even if it is just Tuesday. Having nothing due is so nice and so relaxing. I actually had time to even watch an hour of the office! And to think that I am actually getting caught up with my readings and doing things the week before they are due....amazing.

For my nutrition homework I had to keep track of everything I ate for 3 days. I then entered it into the "my pyramid" website, and it gave me all kinds of charts and data about how much nutrients I am eating. It was kinda overwhelming, but interesting none the less. All in all I discovered I need to be eating more veggies! Maybe Kelly you can help me with this. It's just so much easier eating at home. I hate cooking for one :(

I am so so so happy that Cathy and Greg are letting me fly to St. Louis in April. That was just so nice of them. I can't wait to go! I am beyond excited, because he is so amazing! yay! And Corey, I really hope that you could come on Saturday to get a mani/pedi with me and help me with my hair and fun stuff like that. Because that would be so much fun friend!!

(I can't believe Kelly gives me strict deadlines for writing posts on this thing...)

I'm Not Looking

Or at least that's what Kelly told me since she is supposedly "reading" right next to me as I write this thing.

So I think Australia is a definite now. Just talked to the parents this weekend and everything is in its place.

This weekend was sooooo beautiful at home. It doesn't get any better than 75 degrees, sunny, and the beach. It was so great to finally wear shorts again. And I don't appreciate the monsooning rain here in Clemson either.

I just wish my mango muffins would get here already, and the rest of my package!

But today I did have Grandma's homemade cookies waiting for me when I got back today so that was pretty great.

I think this week I need to start cooking some of the recipes I brought with me to school. I know that it would at least make Kelly really happy. And I seem to have a little more free time for the next couple of weeks so it looks like a good idea to me. Except for the fact that we are supposed to be starting our detox diets this week...hmmm we'll see how that goes.

Travels

I've decided that I really do like to travel...alot. Before college it was always just family vacations, but now that I'm on my own at school I have a lot more freedom. I can go all kinds of places on a whim. No plans necessary. This weekend in Maryland was fun with Kel. We got to just enjoy being at a home in a place other than Clemson. The change of scenery was so nice. Maybe we'll keep up our travels with all the weekends to come...hmm.

Today in the car we compiled a list of all the places we have been between the two of us since August 2007...
1. Nashville, TN (twice...and more times to come)
2. Frederick/Middletown, MD
3. Indianapolis, IN
4. Lake Lure, NC
5. Greenville, SC
6. Athens, GA
7. Kansas City/Lawrence, KS
8. High Point, NC
9. Lexington, KY
10. Hilton Head, SC
11. Cherokee, NC
12. St. Louis, MO
13. Lake of the Ozarks, MO
14. New York City, NY
15. ???

Distracted

Well for starters I got rid of the creepy monkey picture. It was kind of freaking me out too so now it's gone. But anyways, I'm supposed to be studying for my first physics test right now, but I can't seem to focus at all today. This is probably not a good thing. I hope I will be ok tomorrow...I just feel like doing anything and everything besides studying.

Tonight small group was fun. Even though we didn't even open Velvet Elvis or the Bible. oops...next time. But it was still so good just to sit and talk with Jenny, Kristin, and Kel. I love all of them so much. I don't know what I would do without them. It is nice to have them here since so many people that I care about in my life seem to live so far away....ehmm...for example corey beth! But it's ok because we will always be friends.

And I think I am going to work on not being so competitive with those around me, and learn to be more sensitive to others. And I guess blogging isn't all that terrible. It is a nice way to procrastinate productively.

For Corey and Kelly

New Post YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
